From Land Assembly to Integrated Operations
Nord's evolution from acquiring abandoned properties to operating the district's only processor demonstrates systematic execution. Each acquisition and discovery built toward today's dual-track strategy.

2015-2019
Strategic Land Assembly
When others abandoned the Cobalt camp during low silver prices, Nord quietly assembled the district's largest land package.

2020: PIVOTAL ACQUISITION
TTL: From Government Lab to Production Hub
Acquired the former Ontario government assay lab for a fraction of replacement cost. This 20,000 sq ft facility had served the district since 1941, processing millions of ounces for Agnico and Teck. Nord invested in crushing circuits (20 tonne/hour), gravity plant (24 tonne/day), and analytical capabilities (6,000 assays/month).

2019-2023: Castle East Discovery
First major discovery in the camp in 50 years. Drilling intersected 89,853 g/t silver, defining an initial 7.5M oz resource. Ongoing 60,000m program targeting 30-100M oz. Multiple vein structures identified including Robinson, Big Silver, and All-Stars zones.
2024-Present: Technology and Permits
Advancing on multiple fronts: MICA funding for Re-2Ox pilot, recovery permits under Ontario's 80-day process, Miller Creek tailings testing (up to 411 g/t AgEq), and continued resource expansion drilling.

STRATEGIC FOCUS
Consolidation Over Diversification
While Nord holds battery metals properties in Quebec and lithium claims in Ontario, the company's focus remains on maximizing value from the Castle-TTL complex. This concentration of effort distinguishes Nord from juniors spreading resources across multiple projects.
